Private guiding and instruction is a great option if you are looking for a fun day out on real rock with a group of friends or your family or if you want to get instruction specifically tailored to your needs, rather than attending a scheduled course.

With private guiding, you can take things at your own pace so that you’ll get the most out of your day.

Depending on your preference, guiding usually runs either at Camel’s Hump or the Cathedral Ranges during the warmer seasons or Werribee Gorge/Staughton Vale/You Yangs during the cooler seasons. All activities are dependent on weather.

*All our private guiding sessions have a maximum of 1:6 ratio, which means one instructor to a maximum of 6 guests. If you have more than 6 people in your group, then we can add another guide to your trip. (NOTE: due to Covid-19 restrictions current maximum group number is 6 people + 1 guide.)

*While there is no minimum climbing age, older (school age and up) children are likely to get more out of a guiding day. If you bring young children, please be aware that some of the climbing locations are close to steep ground. Note that children will not be able to belay due to weight differences, and a parent will have to do so. The parent attending will also count as a participant.
