I took this family of three out to Mt Macedon one week and the Cathedral Ranges yesterday. They had heaps of fun climbing on the rocks, abseiling and even some top-rope setting!

An awesome 2 days spent with this crazy crew, who offered up lots of fun banter and a keen learning attitude. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching you guys, I hope you enjoy these photos, and I hope to see you again out on the rock!

So… after far too many years I finally got to take my brother Lincoln out climbing at Arapiles over New Years. Turns out he’s got some natural talent… he managed to pull off an ascent of “Pilot Error” (20) on his 4th day climbing…ever! Other climbs in the trip included Muldoon, Agamemnon, Missing Link, The Bard, Eskimo Nell, Spiral Staircase and Camelot (at midnight on NY’s!). The abseil pictured is during the descent from Ali’s. Whew, what a busy 3 days! Not bad for someone who claimed to be afraid of heights on the first day.

What an amazing three days in Arapiles! Peter, Priscilla and Colin did really well on the Single Pitch Trad course in December, and we managed to climb a fair few climbs all over the area. I hope you three enjoyed the course, and I look forward to seeing you at the next one!
